Your web site is great! Ernest Rahrle was my great grandmother's brother. She was Julia Amelia Rahrle Fournier. Her husband my ggrandfather was Maxim A. Fournier who was killed in a hit and run accident. She later married Edward Rosen Emmons. Julia died 9/25/1953 and is buried in Onondaga Valley Cem.as Julia Emmons. Barbara |

Originally, I thought that your site was from my cousin Fred Sauter, but he's from Rochester, NY probably a suburb.He just retired from Kodak after a completing a great career there,and after getting his Ph.D. from MIT, in 3 yrs. Fred is from Pittsburgh originally as am I. He is my cousin.Point of info there's a "massive" Sauter in Pgh.)
Just very recently, I have been looking into (not really working)the Sauter name, and I have become aware of many clusters throughout the USA, but I can't seem to see the Pittsburgh conection... Any thoughts?
Point of info. My father, Andrew D. Sauter Sr, passed on 9/2/01,youngest son of Elizabeth and I believe Andrew John was his fathers' name. My son, Andrew D. Sauter III is at asauter@scu.edu and I am at asauter@nanoliter.com or asauter@aol.com.
I hope we can figure out how they got to Pittsburgh.

Augusta Sauter was my maternal grandmother and Fannie Hull Rahrle was my mother. I never knew Gussie, as she died in 1947, six years before I was born. I live in Denver, although I grew up in Nedrow, on the southside of Syracuse. Thanks, Patrick!

Hallo! My Grand-Grand Mother was born Sprenger. The family goes retour till 1635. In the family Sprenger are too Sauter`s from Bubsheim and Böttingen im Kreis Tuttlingen in South-Germany. I have the "Ahnenstamm" from the Sprenger. Bat I don`t know, if the Sauter`s from Bubsheim or Böttingen are related with your Sauter`s in Kusel in the Pfalz. Freundliche Grüsse aus Germany - |
